How to Submit:
- Register as an Author: To begin the submission process, authors must register on our manuscript submission system. Registration will provide you with access to the system where you can upload your manuscript and track its progress.
- Prepare Your Manuscript: Ensure that your manuscript adheres to the journal’s submission guidelines, including formatting, referencing style, and required sections (abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, etc.). - Submit Your Manuscript: Submit your manuscript through our online submission portal, including all necessary files (manuscript, figures, tables, and supplementary materials). You will be asked to provide information such as author details, conflicts of interest, and funding sources.
- Peer Review and Decision: After submission, your manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The reviewers will evaluate your work based on its scientific merit, novelty, methodology, and relevance to the field. You will receive detailed feedback from reviewers, and you will have the opportunity to revise and resubmit your manuscript.
- Final Decision and Publication: Once your manuscript is accepted, it will be processed for publication in the next available issue. As an open-access journal, your article will be available for free download to readers worldwide.
Author Responsibilities:
- Ethical Considerations: Authors must ensure that their research adheres to ethical guidelines, particularly when working with human or animal subjects. All necessary ethical approvals (e.g., from an institutional review board or ethics committee) should be obtained and included in the manuscript.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research, including financial relationships, affiliations, or personal interests that may influence the manuscript.
- Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to make their research data publicly available in a trusted open-access repository. A statement regarding the availability of data should be included in the manuscript.
- Authorship Contributions: All authors must meet the criteria for authorship, with significant contributions to the study design, data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation. Any changes to authorship after submission must be agreed upon by all co-authors and documented appropriately.
Publication Fees:
JBMI is an open-access journal, and while there are no submission fees, we charge a publication fee to cover the costs of article processing, including peer review, editing, and hosting. The fee structure is available on our website, and authors will be informed about the applicable fees after acceptance. We offer discounts or fee waivers for authors from low-income countries or those facing financial hardship.
