While the Journal of Biological and Medical Innovations (JBMI) is a digital-first, open-access publication, we recognize the value and necessity of physical copies for certain readers, authors, and institutions. This policy outlines the availability, process, and terms for obtaining printed versions of our content.

1. Availability of Printed Copies

JBMI primarily operates as an online, open-access journal to ensure immediate, global, and cost-free access to research. However, printed copies of individual articles or complete journal issues are available upon request to accommodate diverse needs and preferences.

2. Requesting a Printed Copy

Requests for printed copies can be made through the following channels:

·       Online Portal: Submit a request via the journal’s manuscript submission and inquiry system.

·       Direct Contact: Contact the JBMI Editorial Office directly.

All requests must clearly specify:

·       The article title, or manuscript ID (for individual articles).

·       The issue number and volume (for entire issues).

·       The desired quantity and the complete shipping address.

3. Pricing and Associated Costs

As a non-subscription journal, printed copies are provided at a cost-recovery fee to cover production and shipping.

·       Cost Structure: Fees are determined by the length of the article/issue, the number of copies, and the shipping destination. A detailed cost estimate will be provided for approval before any order is processed.

·       Complimentary Author Copies: Corresponding authors receive ten (10) complimentary copies of their published article. Additional copies can be purchased at the standard rate.

·       Institutional Orders: Libraries and institutions are eligible for volume-based pricing on orders for multiple articles or issues.

4. Payment and Order Fulfillment

·       Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and bank transfers, processed through our secure online system.

·       Order Confirmation: Upon payment confirmation, a formal order confirmation with an estimated delivery timeline will be issued.

5. Shipping, Delivery, and Quality

·       Shipping: Shipping costs are calculated based on the order's size and destination. International deliveries may be subject to longer transit times and additional customs fees, for which the recipient is responsible.

·       Production Time: Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for processing and shipping. You will be notified of any significant delays.

·       Quality Assurance: All prints are produced to high-quality professional standards, ensuring the physical copy is a precise and durable representation of the published online article.

6. Environmental Commitment

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we strongly advocate for digital access as the primary and most environmentally friendly option. For those who require printed copies, we partner with printers who adhere to responsible environmental practices, including the use of sustainable paper sources.

7. Policy Limitations

·       Availability: The availability of printed copies for back issues may be limited and is subject to stock.

Withdrawn Articles: Printed copies will not be provided for articles that have been formally withdrawn or retracted after publication. Any pending orders for such articles will be canceled and refunded
